Insurance 101

Discover the important role your lender plays in managing insurance funds.

Insurance Claims? We’re Here to Help.

When the unexpected happens, we're here to help you navigate the repair process, understand your options, and take the next steps with confidence.

1

Start your insurance claim

Contact your insurance company and file a claim. An adjuster will inspect the damage and determine what’s covered.

2

Keep your lender in the loop

As your lender, let us know about the damage. We’ll help you get your insurance claim check funds as soon as possible.

3

Review your insurance payment

Smaller claims may be paid directly to you. Larger claims may be payable to both you and your lender.

4

Gather your repair team

Share estimates, contracts, licensing information, and inspection updates as needed.

5

Bring your home back to life

Complete repairs and save receipts, invoices, and photos documenting the work.

6

Celebrate the finish line

After final inspections, remaining funds may be released and you can enjoy your restored home.
